Dan became the first contracted President in NBA’s 34 year history on May 16, 2016.  With a rich and robust industry background, Dan understands the Independent Brokerage General Agent. After spending time as a Life Insurance Agent with Northwestern Mutual, he was introduced to Life Brokerage working for his father-in-law, W.R. Ryno & Co. in Northfield, IL.

Dan and his wife Karole started a scratch agency in San Diego and was a member of NAILBA and Bramco.  After selling the agency he held home office positions focused on national distribution, driving the sales and marketing of companies such as Life of Virginia, Protective Life, American General and MetLife Premier Client Group. He has worked with all levels of distribution, marketing protection type products to life and health agents and accumulation solutions to advisors in Banks and broker dealers.

Dan is eager to work with all NBA members to develop strategies and plans to grow their business as well as assisting NBA leadership in improving the already impressive NBA value proposition to its membership.

Dan is also looking forward to building on the relationships with our partner carriers to grow production and more closely align our common objectives.

He and his wife Karole reside in Leesburg, Virginia, have three grown sons and have been active in Church and Youth Sports.
